Compute the potential temperature.
- Parameters:

xarray.DataArray) – Temperature (K)p (
xarray.DataArray) – Pressure (Pa)
- Returns:
Potential temperature (K)
- Return type:
The computation is based on the following formula [Wallace2006]:
\[\theta = t \left(\frac{10^{5}}{p}\right)^{\kappa}\]with \(\kappa = R_{d}/c_{pd}\) (see
earthkit.meteo.constants.kappa).
