Average of solar zenith angle based on numerical integration.

Parameters:
  • begin_date (datetime.datetime)

  • end_date (datetime.datetime)

  • lat (array-like) – Latitude [degrees].

  • lon (array-like) – Longitude [degrees].

  • intervals_per_hour (int) – Number of time integrations per hour.

  • order (integration) – Order of Gaussian integration, valid = (1, 2, 3, 4)

Returns:

Average of cosine of the solar zenith angle during interval [degrees]. Based on numerical integration using the 3 point [Gaussian_Quadrature] rule. [Hogan_and_Hirahara2015], [Biricombe2022]
